The Difference between Rejecting and Cancelling Session Reports

To reject a session report, click on the Sessions tab in the menu bar
a. Click on Reports
b. Click on Submitted Reports
c. Click on the Reject Icon


 

To cancel a session report, click on the Sessions tab in the menu bar

a. Click on Reports
b. Click on Submitted Reports
c. Click on the Reject Icon


When you cancel or reject a session report, the session reports will be moved to the Follow-Up Reports in the tutor, administrator/admin – level 1, and franchisee view. 

What is the difference?
 The difference between cancelling and rejecting a session report is in the duration of the tutoring session. The duration of the tutoring session cannot be changed once a session is rejected, but other changes can be made to it. 

Reject option
When a session report is rejected, the Account Summary screen will show the used hours being reduced and the reserved hours being increased by the same amount as the duration of the session report. This can be seen in the franchisee view and the administrator view. 
If a session report is Rejected, the Appointment Time, Date, and Notes fields can be edited through the pencil (Edit) icon. This can be done by the franchisee, administrators, or the tutor. Click on Submit Report. The edited session report can now be found in the Submitted Reports and the report can be approved. 

Cancel option
 In contrast, once a session is report cancelled, edits can no longer be made to it. After cancelling the session report, the hours associated to the session report (in the account summary screen) will go back to its previous state. The session report(s) need to be re-submitted from the beginning as an appointment. 

From the franchisee view, the session can be submitted by hovering over Sessions and clicking on Scheduling. 
  1. Click on Add to schedule the session report, shared week to have access to the shared calendar and choose the tutor from the Tutor List. 
  2. Add the appointment on next screen and click Save. 
  3. In order to submit the report hover over Sessions, click on Reports and find the scheduled appointment by clicking on the Pending Reports tab. 
  4. Click on the Submit Report icon. 
  5. Fill in the details of the new session report and click Save. This report will now show in the Submitted Reports.
