Zones - How to Set up and Use
What is a zone?
A zone is a field which you can use to segment your region in a way that is useful for your business. Zones can be separated by individual postal/zip code, a group of postal/zip codes, neighbourhoods, transportation routes, or any other geographical separation that is meaningful for your business. Zones were created to simplify Tutor Matching and eventually help with Tutor Capacity.
How can I use zones?
Once zones are created, each account/client can be assigned ONE zone. This will allow for hot mapping and campaign-focused tracking in future.

Each tutor can select any/all zones that they are available to work in. This will simplify the matching process when a franchisee wants to identify quickly which tutors are available in the account/client zone. Zones can be filtered in the Tutor Availability Report to see at a glance, which tutors are available in a given zone.

Creating a zone
- Go to Activities > Zones in the menu bar.

- Click Add Zone in the left-hand menu.

- In the Zone Name field, input what you would like to call your zone. This field will be visible in the drop-down menus used to assign tutors and clients to zones.

- In the Description field, you can add a more detailed description about the zone you are creating. For example, you can add the list of postal or zip codes that are included in this zone.

- Click Save.
