  1. When the contest is running
  2. How many STEM workshops you’re giving away
  3. Rules (i.e. Like the post, comment with teacher’s name, school and grade. Winners will be randomly selected.)

WIN A FREE STEM WORKSHOP FOR YOUR STUDENTS!
Tutor Doctor [location] is giving away [number] FREE 1-hour interactive STEM workshops for your class! All you need to do is nominate a teacher and their class by commenting below.
Students will learn how to build working machines using simple household materials. Not only will they apply the Math and Science concepts they’ve learned in school, they’ll also develop fine motor skills, problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
How to enter: LIKE THE POST AND COMMENT with the teacher’s name, school and grade. YOU MUST DO BOTH. Please only add one teacher's name per comment. Winners will be randomly selected. Contest ends [date and time].

NOTE: How you run the workshop is entirely up to you. You could offer this as an hour lesson during school time or as an after-school activity.

STEP 2: Boost Your Facebook Post

  1. Once you’ve posted your contest post, follow these steps to boost your post:
  2. Click the blue Boost Post button on the post. If the button is faded and un-clickable, learn more about why your boost is unavailable
  3. Select the audience you'd like to reach. We recommend ‘People who have liked your page and their friends’.
  4. Select your budget. We recommend $10-$30.
  5. Choose a duration option, or type in a custom end date next to Run this ad until. We recommend 5 days.
  6. Select your preferred payment option. If there are no payment options available for your account, you'll be prompted to add one after clicking Boost.
  7. Click Boost.

STEP 3: Monitor the Contest

Monitor the post over the time you’re running the contest and keep track of teacher’s names for the prize draw. Make sure to interact with people commenting on your post by at least liking their comments – we recommend replying to their comments.

STEP 4: Announce Winners

Announce the winners on your Facebook Page & thank everyone who nominated a teacher.

STEP 5: Post About Winner’s

Take photos with the teacher and students during the workshop and post these photos on your Facebook Page. This is a great way to showcase your participation with schools and the local community. Makes sure to have them sign photo release forms available in the Resource Library.

TOP TIP: Take marketing collateral (recruitment & consumer), STEM flyers, the ASF book, bookmarks etc. with you when you run the workshops.

How to Upload the Video for Your Post
