Step 1: Find Local Facebook Groups to Join

Step 1: Find Local Facebook Groups to Join

Focusing on local areas within your territory, you will need to join as many FB groups as you possibly can. Use search terms based on the names of local neighbourhoods, sub-towns and areas to find localized groups. You can also search for groups where you have local connections via your networking connections, personal interests, family etc. Keeping these search terms short will help turn more search results.

Here are some examples of types of groups to join:
  1. Mom/Dad/Parent groups
  2. Local general community/neighborhood groups
  3. Education focused groups (i.e. homeschooling)
  4. Local buy/sell groups
  5. Business Networking Groups
  6. Recruitment Groups
  7. Church Groups
  8. School Groups - PTA/PTO, Parents Groups
  9. College/University Groups
  10. Tutor Needed Groups
  11. Local Events Pages/Community Markets
Be sure the groups you join are local to your area/territory - indicators of this are names/locations in the group name. Use google maps to find location names if you are not sure.

*Your target audience in Facebook community groups are parents, generally moms aged 30-55 based on experience of expert franchisees*
