The Difference Between PPC Budget and Spend

The Difference Between PPC Budget and Spend

The AdWords daily budget is the maximum amount that your campaign can spend per day (averaged over the period of a month).

The actual spend is the cost spent on clicks in a day (over a period of a month).

If your budget is $1000/£ 1000, your spend could be less than or equal to your budget, but will never go over your budget. You only pay for the clicks.

Please note, that you will also pay your vendor for a management fee. Depending on the vendor, this could be an additional cost on top of your PPC budget, or could be included in that budget.
