Track Leads, Clients, and Revenue by Sector in BANG

Track Leads, Clients, and Revenue by Sector in BANG

We’ve added a Sector field on the Lead, Client, and Enrollment screens in BANG across all countries. This field includes the following options:

  • Business to Business (B2B)
  • Business to Customer (B2C)
  • Business to Government (B2G)

Note for UK Users: You’ll continue to see the two existing options — Business to Business and Business to Customer.

This new sector tracking will allow you to:

  • Assign a sector to every lead and client
  • Select the sector at the time of creating an enrollment
  • Have enrollments automatically inherit the sector if it exists on the client or lead profile
  • See revenue broken down by sector in your Royalties Report

How to Use the Sector Field

1. Add Sector to New Leads
When a new lead comes in, you can assign a sector after making any edits to their profile.
If a sector isn’t selected, the default option is "Please select". You will need to add a sector before saving the lead’s profile after editing it.

2. Update Sector for Existing Clients/Leads via Enrollment
When creating an enrollment:

  • If a sector is already saved on the lead or client profile, it will automatically appear in the enrollment.
  • If not, you will be able to add the sector before you save the enrollment.

3. Use Exports to Quickly Spot Missing Sector Info
To make sure sectors are properly added:

  • Download your Client or Lead Export from BANG.
  • Check Column AP — this shows the current sector for each profile.
  • Any blanks mean the sector hasn’t been set. Go to the profile to update it.

4. Enable Accurate Reporting
To ensure your
Royalties Report reflects revenue by sector, make sure every client has a sector added before processing payments.
